After a successful Youth Championships in April, it was the turn of the 'Age Groupers' to shine at the London Age Group Championships, held at Crystal Palace Sports Centre.  Sending a team of 30 swimmers, we were by far the loudest and well supported team at the Championships, if there was a Hillingdon swimmer in a final then Crystal Palace knew about it!  It was a great meet not just summed up by medals and lots of PB’s, but many swimmers made finals for the first time at Regional Championships.  Our younger swimmers benefited from the team atmosphere and will surely be on the hunt for medals and finals next season. Swimmers also took the opportunity to post themselves strong times, that leaves them high in the rankings for the Summer Nationals, as the closing of the qualification window approaches.
