In the last competition of the qualifying window, Hillingdon SC took a team of 32 swimmers to the Cardiff International Meet.  This meet has previously hosted Irish & Scottish teams, as well as the qualifyting meet for the Welsh team for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.   After a busy and long qualifitying window, the HSC swimmers stepped up to produce personal and seasonal best times where it mattered, especially for the age groupers who had only just raced the previous weekend at the London Championships.  The team amassed a total of 50 medals (11 Gold, 23 Silver & 16 Bronze) and had an amazing 89 swimmers representing the club in finals over the 3 day meet and was overall 2nd best team!   Coaches John, Matt and Gary were impressed and pleased at the Team's ability to step up from heats to finals and race together as a team.  Like always, Hillingdon were loud and proud as every swimmer, coach and parent cheered on their team mates.  This was a great way to end the qualifyting period.  Well done to all swimmers who posted times that qualified for the Summer Championships.
