On Saturday 17th June we saw 30 young swimmers competing at the first Enfield Junior Meet. It was a great meet and it gave all the young swimmers a chance to swim events they hadn’t swam before, as well as gain some valuable racing experience for the 1st timers! We had a total of 50 Personal Best times, which is a fantastic achievement and plenty of medals!

Thanks to the two team mangers, Graham Bowley and Dave Gettens, for ensuring all the swimmers knew where they were meant to be and being a massive help on poolside.

Thanks to Lin and Luke for coaching the swimmers all day.

Well done All!

After winning Round 1 and Round 2 on the M11 Division 2 league, Hillingdon's Junior Team went to Enfield for the Final Round and came away with the best possible result - winning again and have a 100% record in the Junior League for 2017!

Hillingdon got off to a flying start winning 5 and coming 2nd place 3 times in the 1st 10 events. From there, the team did not hold back and alongside the team cheering each other on, they continued to not let up eventually winning the Round with 229 points, with Hackney in 2nd place with 186.

With this win, Hillingdon finish Top of the League, 4 points ahead of Hackney again in 2nd place. This means Hillingdon will take their place in the M11 Division 1 League in 2018 - with stronger competition!

A massive well done and thank you to Luke Spain who attend all 3 rounds as Coach, Sue Gleeson for organising the team, everyone who was an official or a timekeeper and of course, the swimmers! Well done on a fantastic achievement and year in the Junior League.

We are the CHAMPIONS!!!
